TEST TANK (TWO PHASE SEPARATOR)
The Test Tank (2-Phase Separator) is a pressurized vessel used measure liquid flow rates from the test separator. It is used to determine the accurate measurement of the shrinkage factor and obtain the meter factor.
The test tank is highly recommended for high oil/condensate producing wells when the stage separation is conducted at high pressures. The second, low pressure separation is used to remove dissolved gas from the condensate.
