INDIRECT HEATER
The indirect gas–fired heater is used in situations where excessive hydrates are formed during a production testing operation. Pressure reduction causes temperature reduction and this more often than not, brings about hydrates formation.
The heater consist of a fire tube, a water bath at atmospheric pressure, a 2-inch split coil with intermediate choke, an adjustable choke with 1-inch seat and a solid stem.
The heater manifold has a three gate valve configuration rated to 5000-psi working pressure.
